Wounded monkey in Tsz Wan Shan caught by SPCA for treatment
A wounded monkey was taken away for treatment after it was found in Tsz Wan Shan this afternoon.
The monkey was found near a rubbish bin close to the bus stop at 150 Tsz Wan Shan Road, opposite Tsz Oi Court's Oi Fu House.
Its limbs, chest, hands and feet were injured.
Residents in the area left some bread to feed it and called the police at around 4.30pm.
The police arrived and notified the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. The animal group caught the monkey with a nylon net and put it in a cage.
They are still investigating the reasons behind the monkey's injuries.
