Bun-Scrambling Race Returning to Cheung Chau Festival After Three-Year Hiatus
The bun-scrambling race, a part of the Cheung Chau Festival, returned this year after a three-year hiatus due to the pandemic.
Twelve finalists, nine men and three women, are preparing for the competition set to take place at midnight on Friday.
The competition attracts around 200 participants each year.
The winner of the competition in 2019, Janet Kung, and five-time champion Angel Wong, both say they have been preparing mentally and physically for the race.
