Woman arrested for doxxing colleague over work dispute
A 52-year-old woman was arrested by the privacy watchdog for sharing another person’s confidential information without consent.
The arrestee worked at the same school as the victim from 2019 to 2021 and had a work-related feud, according to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data (PCPD).

The preparator was arrested on Tuesday morning and granted bail. The PCPD will continue its investigation.
The PCPD warns citizens that Identity cards contain sensitive information, and whether or not the information was spread with malicious intent, the perpetrator would be charged with doxxing and receive a fine of up to HK$1 million and imprisonment for five years.
