"Water Taxi” to launch holiday route to West Kowloon, costing HK$20 for adults
To cater to crowds that are heading to the new M+ Museum, Hong Kong Water Taxi will launch a new route to West Kowloon on a trial basis on Sundays and public holidays.
The new route “Central – West Kowloon – Tsim Sha Tsui East – Central" will depart from Central at 1.30pm and 2.40pm respectively on each service day from November 14. It will leave West Kowloon for Tsim Sha Tsui East at 1.50pm and 3pm.
There will be two special departures this Friday, the opening date of the M+ Museum.
The boarding and alighting location in Central will be Central Ferry Pier No. 9 and that for West Kowloon will be Yau Ma Tei Typhoon Shelter Landing No. 2, which is located on the waterfront near the West Harbour Tunnel Toll Plaza northbound bus stops.
For Tsim Sha Tsui East, the boarding location will be Tsim Sha Tsui Landing No.1, which is near the Avenue of Stars in Tsim Sha Tsui East.
As for the fare, it will cost adults HK$20 from Central to West Kowloon. Those who want to go take the round trip will have to pay HK$68.
Children aged between 3 and 11, passengers aged 65 or above, and passengers with disabilities can enjoy the trip at half price.
