(Video) Coach slides and crashes taxi in Kowloon, two injured
A tour bus slid and bumped into a taxi when travelling along Lung Cheung Road in Kowloon on a rainy morning, causing the driver and the passenger in the cab to be hospitalized.
According to the dashcam footage, a coach was hydroplaning on Sunday when driving towards Kwun Tong at around 8.48 am before losing control and hitting a taxi next to it.
The thunderstorm signal was in effect when the accident happened.
The 61-year-old taxi driver, surnamed Chan, claimed that he felt discomfort in his chest, and the 32-year-old passenger surnamed Sum sustained pain in her neck. The duo were sent to the hospital.
Wong, the 66-year-old coach driver, sustained no injuries.
Due to the accident, the involved road section of Lung Cheung Road was once blocked to traffic for two hours.
