Two men wanted for punching convenience store worker over price of chocolate
Two men are now wanted by police as they threw punches at a 34-year-old convenience store worker in Sai Wan Ho after they found the price for a pack of chocolate was cheaper than that of the day before.
The attack occurred at around 7.30 am Wednesday at a convenience store in Hing Tung Shopping Centre in Sai Wan Ho.
Two men walked into the store, and one of them found that the price for a pack of chocolate was lower than that of the day before. They then started questioning the 34-year-old male worker surnamed Chan.
As a heated argument erupted, one of them started punching Chan. The two attackers soon fled the scene, leaving Chan with a bleeding head.
A police report was filed, and paramedics came and sent Chan to Eastern Hospital.
The case was listed as assault occasioning actual bodily harm and is now handled by the Eastern district crime investigation team.
