Two injured after knife attack by gang in Yuen Long ‘road ambush’
Two men riding in a Ferrari were rushed to hospital after being slashed and stabbed multiple times in a Yuen Long “road ambush” early on Friday.
It is understood that the two victims, both 27, were driving along Kam Tin Road towards Sheung Shui when their sports car was hit by a vehicle driven by the assailants at around 2am near Ying Ho Road.
The gang of six to seven men, armed with 30-centimeter blades, were said to have attacked the duo in the Ferrari through the smashed side windows, before fleeing the scene in two other getaway cars.
The duo suffered multiple cuts to their chests and limbs in the attack and were rushed to Tuen Mun Hospital.
A pool of blood was spotted on the pavement, which was sealed off by police as they investigated the incident.
Detectives from the Yuen Long anti-triad squad are leading the investigation.
