Two elderly men robbed of jewelry in North Point and Aberdeen
A 75-year-old man filed a police report on Saturday afternoon after finding his Rolex watch worth about HK$70,000 missing, suspectedly stolen by a mainland woman following a massage session.
Police received the report at about 2.23 pm today. The man named Cheng accepted the massage service offered by the mainland woman, aged about 50, in a flat on 30 Marble Road in North Point but later found the watch missing, and the woman already long gone.
Officers later arrived to investigate and checked security footage from nearby shops.
The case was listed as theft and is now handled by the Eastern district crime investigation team. No one has been arrested so far.
Police are now searching for a woman standing at about 1.6 m tall.
Separately, police also received a report from a 67-year-old man named Siu at around 2.09 pm, who said he was robbed of a jade pendant and a gold necklace by a Chinese woman aged between 40 and 50.
The crime reportedly occurred in the staircases of a building on 36 Aberdeen Main Road.
