Two drivers injured as car overturns on Yuen Long Highway
Two drivers sustained minor injuries as a private car overturned after it crashed into a van on Yuen Long Highway Friday morning, with the driver of the private vehicle trapped inside but later rescued.
The incident occurred around 7.30 am today when the car was traveling toward Sheung Shui on the highway opposite the rural village of Tan Kwai Tsuen.
The vehicle rolled over onto its roof. The driver was trapped within the car but remained conscious and filed a police report on his own.
Police and paramedics later came and rescued the driver, who sustained an injury to his hands. As for the van driver, he said his neck hurt. They were both sent to Tuen Mun Hospital.
Police are now investigating the cause of the incident.
