Three arrested over luxury watch heist in Tsim Sha Tsui
Three men were arrested, along with two vehicles seized for involvement in a watch shop robbery that happened last Saturday in Tsim Sha Tsui.
Police announced on Tuesday that they caught three Southeast Asians aged between 30 to 43, with one holding a recognisance form to stay in Hong Kong, in Sham Shui Po in the past two days. One of the arrestees was the getaway vehicle's driver.
Officers were still tracking down the mastermind of the robbery that occurred in Chungking Mansions on March 25.
The police have also seized two vehicles the criminals used during the crime, including one that was parked at Yuen Long on Tuesday.
Four knife-wielding robbers broke into a watch shop in Tsim Sha Tsui last Saturday and grabbed over 40 Rolex watches, a Patek Philippe watch, and some HK$30,000 cash, with losses totaling over HK$10 million.
They then jumped into a black Toyota and headed towards New Territories.
