Ten community vaccination centers will extend their operations till the end of March next year, with online booking for quotas next year made available from 9am Sunday.
Three centers at Java Road Sports Centre, Kwun Chung Sports Centre and Yuen Wo Road Sports Centre will provide the Sinovac
vaccine. Seven centers providing
BioNTech jabs are located at Sai Wan Ho Sports Centre, Hiu Kwong Street Sports Centre, Lai Chi Kok Park Sports Centre, Yuen Long Sports Centre, Gleneagles Hospital Hong Kong, CUHK Medical Centre and Osman Ramju Sadick Memorial Sports Centre.
Another 11 centers will close by the end of this year, including Kowloon Bay Sports Centre, Tin Fai Road Sports Centre, Sun Yat Sen Memorial Park Sports Centre, Education Bureau Kowloon Tong Education Services Centre, Ho Man Tin Sports Centre, Boundary Street Sports Centre, Tseung Kwan O Sports Centre, Lung Sum Avenue Sports Centre, Yau Oi Sports Centre, Tung Chung Community Hall and Choi Hung Road Badminton Centre.
In addition, new
Covid-19 vaccination stations will be set up in Princess Margaret Hospital and Ruttonjee Hospital on December 10, bringing the number of vaccination stations in hospitals to 11.
The designated clinics under the Hospital Authority and private doctors or clinics enrolled in the vaccination program will continue to provide Sinovac jabs.
