Ten arrested as police flag down 600 vehicles during Halloween
Police flagged down 600 vehicles on Halloween, arresting 10 people suspected of illegal driving.
Officers from Kowloon West Regional Traffic Department launched a three-day operation setting roadblocks in the district from October 28 to 31. Eight people aged 33 to 52, including seven men and one woman were arrested for drunk driving.
Besides, a 33-year-old man and a 52-year-old woman were arrested for driving furiously and failing to provide registered licenses for the car.
A total of 69 vehicles were spotted and detained for speeding during the operation, and three sedans were seized by officers as being illegally modified.
