Taxi flipped after crashing into van in Wong Tai Sin
Two people were injured as a taxi crashed into a van on Lung Cheung Road, Wong Tai Sin in the early hours of today (Sep 22).
At around 5am, the taxi carrying a passenger was going along Lung Cheung Road towards Ping Shek Estate.
The driver lost control of the vehicle when it was near Lung Chi Path in Ngau Chi Wan, hitting a traffic light box and a signboard. It then crashed into a curb and a van, before flipping to its side.
The signboard flew more than 20 meters after the collision.
The taxi's driver and passenger were injured. They climbed into the top of the van before ambulancemen arrived at the scene. They were sent to the hospital for treatment later.
The van driver was not injured and assisted investigation.
