Student Politicism spokeswoman remanded till next appearance in Nov
Wong Yuen-lam, the 19-year-old spokeswoman for Student Politicism, has been remanded after she appeared in court for conspiracy to incite subversion of state power.
She appeared in West Kowloon Law Courts in the afternoon and has not been required to take plea yet.
National security law judge Peter Law Tak-chuen adjourned the case until November 3 as requested by the prosecutor, pending the preparation of documents for referral to the District Court.
He refused the defense's application for bail.
Wong is charged with conspiring with Wong Yat-chin, Chan Chi-sum, Chu Wai-ying and others to incite others to organize, plan, commit or participate in the commission of any of the acts of subversion of state power by force, the threat of force or other unlawful means between October 25, 2020 and June 16, 2021.
