The Standard Chartered Marathon will be staged on October 24.
All runners must have received two doses of
Covid-19
vaccine on or before August 10, and test negative for
coronavirus 72 hours before the race.
There will be a total of 18,500 enrollment quotas – with 4,000 for Marathon, 6,500 for Half Marathon and 8,000 for the 10KM race.
Public ballot entry will open from 10am on September 2. Disability Entry is also available at the same time.
Runners successfully enrolled for the 2020 race can register via the Guaranteed Entry from 10am on August 23. Elite Entry is also open for registration at the same time.
All runners are required to submit proof of vaccination and health declaration form in person on the runner’s pack collection day, confirming they haven’t stayed in places outside Hong Kong in the past 21 days.
The routes for the Marathon and Half Marathon remain the same as in 2020, while the 10KM races will start at the Western Harbour Crossing Toll Plaza in Kowloon.
As for the Virtual Run that will be held from October 25 to November 14, there will also be three race categories available – Marathon, Half Marathon and 10KM races.
Registration for the virtual run will start from 10am on September 15.
