Six thugs wreak havoc at construction company in Tai Kok Tsui
Six thugs carrying hammers and sticks broke into a construction company in Tai Kok Tsui this afternoon and wreaked havoc in the office, injuring the son of the company owner and a staff member.
The construction company is located in Mow Shing Centre on Bedford Road in Tai Kok Tsui.
Police received reports around 4pm, saying that six men, armed with sticks and hammers broke into the company and caused great damage to the office. They broke computers and the glass of the display cabinet, and beat the son of the company owner.
They stayed in the office around a minute before they got into a seven-seater and fled, heading to Mong Kok.
There were three male staffers and another female staffer at the scene. The son of the company owner saw his hands and shoulders injured, and a male staffer saw his hands injured as well. The two were sent to hospital.
It is understood that the construction company is a family business that has been running for over 20 years.
Officers are still investigating the incident and searching for the suspects.
