Police have arrested six men with triad background today after they allegedly attacked a 28-year-old man outside Langham Place in Mong Kok on the night of March 17 before abducting him and pushing him out of a car near Tsing Shan Monastery in Tuen Mun.
The man, surnamed Lau, then sought help from pedestrians and was taken to Tuen Mun Hospital with injuries to his head, hands and legs.
The six, aged between 17 to 56, were arrested over false imprisonment, wounding and using a false instrument - where they have used fake license plates.
A police spokesman said they believe the incident could be linked to triad money dispute, and will not rule out the likelihood of further arrests.
