Cai Jin, Co-Chief Executive Officer of Sing Tao News Corp, coupled with Leo Liu Binxing, General Manager of Alibaba Cloud Intelligence Hong Kong, Macau Region, and the Philippines, officiated at the launch ceremony of the summit.

Sing Tao has been developing online and mobile multimedia platforms in recent years to meet the needs of the global Chinese market, said Cai at the event.

"We launched the Sing Tao Headlines app in January 2022 under the collaboration between Sing Tao and Ali Cloud," he added, "which integrated news, videos, live broadcasts, and personalization functions to provide users with a wide range of information on their fingertips."

The app received the Annual Digital Transformation Award from Ali cloud.

Ali Cloud also announced the establishment of the Hong Kong Cloud Talent Program at the summit, noting it will strengthen the training of local talent to support the digital transformation for local businesses.
