SF Express said unscrupulous scammers have sent SMS messages to cheat people of their credit card information under the pretense of delivery problems.
The fake message, sent under the company's name, claimed the recipients had missed the delivery of a parcels and asked them to click on "SF-delivery.com" to reschedule the delivery.
The victims were then directed to a fake webpage that displays a map and a fake delivery note number. He or she is asked enter dates for the redelivery the parcel, as well as personal information including phone numbers, address, and credit card information. The fraudsters then use this information to get money from the victims' credit cards.
The company stressed that it did not send the messages and that it has reported the case to the police.
They reminded the public that SF Express will never ask for customers to fill in personal information including ID numbers, bank accounts, credit card numbers, or passwords online.
