Second round of HK$1,000 Octopus consumption vouchers available for collection
Those who have chosen to collect the government’s electronic consumption vouchers via Octopus and finished spending the previous HK$4,000 by the end of December will be able to redeem the last HK$1,000 starting Sunday.
Citizens must have spent the HK$4,000 of vouchers distributed in the first two phases before the third voucher of HK$1,000 can be claimed.
Those who have not yet reached the cumulative eligible spending amount will be able to redeem their vouchers later.
If cumulative spending has reached HK$4,000 by January 31, citizens will be able to redeem the final HK$1,000 on February 16. Similarly, those who finish spending the HK$4,000 by February 28 will be able to redeem vouchers on March 16.
Everyone must finish spending the vouchers by the end of February. Those who fail to meet the deadline won’t be able to collect the last HK$1,000.
