A Chinese restaurant in Mong Kok saw many customers in the morning, with some staff members checking the vaccination records of diners at the entrance.

A citizen surnamed Tam said he just got jabbed on Monday and uploaded the record to the LeaveHomeSafe app in the morning with the help of the restaurant staff.

He said the jab process took about 30 minutes yesterday and that he originally booked to get vaccinated in mid-June but decided to receive it earlier as "it was unable to work without vaccination."

He added that it was still possible to be infected after vaccination, and some elderlies would rather not go out than get jabbed.

Another woman surnamed Leung said she had already received the third dose and that the vaccination pass was effective and could protect public health.
