Quarantine-less travel under Come2hk scheme to start tomorrow

Non-Hong Kong residents from Guangdong province and Macao can come to the city without quarantine starting tomorrow under the Come2hk scheme.
To ensure smooth operation, 1,000 quotas per day are each given to Shenzhen Bay Port and the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge at the beginning of the implementation.

Individuals who have reserved successfully must enter the city on the specified date and through the exact port, with a valid negative Covid-19 test result obtained on or within three days before departure.

The online reservation system will start accepting applications on a first-come-first-served basis from midnight on September 15 and will open the next round of booking every Wednesday at midnight thereafter.

Applicants must provide personal information including name, gender, date of birth, valid travel document number, mobile number for receiving SMS services in the mainland or Macao, the specified date of arrival and the control point.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old and may apply for a maximum of three non-Hong Kong residents to accompany them. Parents or guardians of applicants under 18 can make an appointment and provide the required personal information for them.

The government reminded all the applicants to allow sufficient time to visit any Covid testing center in Guangdong or Macao that is recognized by the governments of Hong Kong and Guangdong or Macao.

Details of testing centers in Guangdong can be accessed through the State Council WeChat mini-programs or its official website. As for Macao, please refer to this list.

The relevant center will upload the negative result of the tested person to the "Yuekang code" or the "Macao Health Code".

The Government recommends visitors upload valid testing results to the Department of Health's eHealth Declaration Form through the code conversion function and complete the form before arrival.

Special facilitated entry channels will be set up at relevant immigration control points for visitors holding the green code to speed up the clearance process.

Those who have not obtained a green code in advance have to bring along a paper report of test results for inspection upon arrival.

The Government has released a guide for "code conversion" for the "Yuekang code" and the "Macao Health Code"

Eligible individuals will be issued with a Come2hk green QR code and will be granted an exemption of a 14-day compulsory quarantine, but are required to undergo compulsory testing on the third, fifth, ninth, twelfth, sixteenth and nineteenth day of arrival.

The nineteenth day must be conducted at a Community Testing Centre.
