Protective screens installed after suspected projectile shattered courthouse window
Workers were seen installing protective screens along a flyover next to the West Kowloon Magistrates' Courts on Thursday, after a suspected projectile shattered a window of the courthouse last month.
A five-meter-tall glass window at the courthouse was hit by pellets fired by a gun on February 8 when it is hearing the city’s largest national security trial. Police believed the shot was fired from the flyover but no pellet or other projectile has reportedly been found.
A close-up photo circulating on social media that day appeared to show a tiny hole in the window, in addition to the other damage.
