Private jet party, hotel stays and iPhones be offered in new vaccine lotteries

Private jet party, hotel stays and iPhones be offered in new vaccine lotteries

Cathay Pacific Airways is offering a private party in the air for one lucky citizen, as well as 20 million Asia Miles for another 110 winners in a lucky draw to help boost the city's Covid-19 vaccination drive.
The airline has announced its latest lucky draw for a once-in-a-lifetime private flight party in its A321neo airbus, which will fly around Hong Kong while the winner and his vaccinated companions enjoy their party.

Another lottery will draw 10 winners to receive one million Asia Miles each and another 100 for 100,000 Asia Miles.
Hong Kong ID card holders fully vaccinated by August are eligible for the draw, with details to be announced later.

The Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce announced it will organize lucky draws between July and September.

Prizes worth around HK$20 million will be offered, including 500 MTR annual passes, Cathay Pacific business class air tickets, hotel staycations and amusement park packages. A full list of prizes on offer will be announced at a launch ceremony at a later date.

All Hong Kong residents with a valid HKID card aged 18 or above and have received two doses of COVID-19 vaccine in Hong Kong will be eligible to participate.

The HKGCC stated that further details of how to register, full terms and conditions and the lucky draw dates will be announced in due course.

Chinachem Group, a leading property developer in Hong Kong, has also announced a lucky draw to promote the vaccination campaign.

“We believe that driving up the vaccination rates will help build an immunity barrier for Hong Kong, which will speed up the relaxation of anti-epidemic measures as well as the return to a healthy economy,” Donald Choi, the group's executive director and chief executive officer, remarked.

All Hong Kong residents who have received both doses of COVID-19 vaccines by the end of August will be eligible to register for the lottery.

Prizes for the lucky draw include 1,000 shopping vouchers worth HK$1,000 each to be used in the group's shopping malls, 50 year-round offers of dinner buffet at Nina Hotels worth a total of HK$8.3 million, and 100 year-round movie pass for family of four which will guarantee free access to films at any of Chinachem's cinema houses.

Telecommunications company 3 Hong Kong will provide 33 iPhone12 Pro as prizes of a vaccine lottery.

All customers who sign new contract, renew their contract or upgrade to 5G service, and have taken two doses of COVID-19 vaccines before August 31 will be eligible to join.

Other benefits include being able to purchase 22 types of smartphones, including iPhone 12 Pro Max, iPad Pro and Samsung Galaxy S21 with a HK$800 discount.
