Police officer who allegedly took upskirt photo while on duty granted bail
A police constable was on Tuesday granted bail at the Fanling Magistrates' Courts after he was brought to court for allegedly taking upskirt photos of two women while on foot patrol duties in Tai Po in May this year.
Ng Pui-wai, 53, was charged with loitering and committing acts outraging public decency. He did not have to tender a plea today.
Magistrate Colin Wong Sze-cheung adjourned the case to February 21 next year, pending the prosecution’s further investigation and obtaining legal advice.
Ng was granted a cash bail of HK$1,000 and was not allowed to leave the city.
It is understood that the constable has been suspended from duty for the time being.
