Over a hundred citizens feel the earthquake in Guangdong

Hong Kong observatory recorded a 3.7-magnitude earthquake in Heyuan, Guangdong, at 5:40 am today, while over a hundred citizens felt the earthquake.
The Observatory indicated that the earthquake was near the coast of Southeastern China.

The epicentre located near 23.85N, 114.50E. That was about 23 kilometres west-northwest of Heyuan, Guangdong, and about 180 kilometres north of Hong Kong.

The Observatory received around a hundred locally felt reports of this earth tremor, the duration of which was a few seconds.

It said that the initial estate gave a local intensive of two on the Modified Mercalli Intensity Scale, which persons could feel at rest, upper floors, or favourably placed.
