Online registration for visits to M+ Museum opens on Friday
Online registration for M+ Museum tickets, which opens to the public for free starting Friday next week (Nov 12), will open at 10am this Friday (Nov 5).
To ensure the smooth admission of visitors, online reservations for timed admission slots to the new museum will be available, the museum said.
Reservations for admission in the first two weeks, from November 12 to 28, can be made starting 10am on Friday on the West Kowloon website, M+ website, or through the 'West Kowloon Cultural District' mobile application.
The museum previously announced that the general admission fees to galleries would be waived for twelve months after the opening date for Hong Kong residents with valid identification. M+ later decided to extend the arrangement to all visitors in response to the overwhelming support from the public.
Special exhibitions and events, as well as cinema screenings, may require separate paid tickets.
M+ strongly recommends all visitors make reservations ahead of their visits and arrive at the museum within their designated timeslot. Walk-in visits may be possible but will be subject to availability. Children aged six or below accompanied by registered visitors do not require a reservation.
Visitors who have registered for M+ opening programs are not required to make separate reservations for admission. They can present their program confirmation email upon entry to the M+ building.
