A total of 940 stalls at the 2022 Lunar New Year fairs will be put up for open auction in batches starting November 15, and none of them is allowed to sell any dry goods or fast food.
The 2022 Lunar New Year fairs will be held at 15 locations including Victoria Park in Causeway Bay and Fa Hui Park in Sham Shui Po. The fairs will run from January 26 to February 1, 2022.
The upset prices of the fair stalls are frozen again at last year's level, which are half of those in 2019, and range from HK$320 to HK$5,440.
The licensee and staff deployed to work at the stall must be fully vaccinated and must have undergone a
Covid test at their own cost within 48 hours before the commencement of the fairs. Combined nasal and throat swab samples collected by professionals shall be used as specimens for the test.
All individuals entering the fairs are required either to scan the venue QR code using the LeaveHomeSafe app or fill in a form which registers their names, the first four digits or letters of their identification documents, contact numbers, the date and time of their visits.
