Nineteen people arrested for drinking at unlicensed bar
Police arrested 19 people for drinking inside an unlicensed bar, and fined them HK$5,000 each for breaching social gathering rules.
Kwun Tong police carried out Operation Braveduke on Sunday midnight, which saw officers patrolling several party rooms and upstairs bars in the district.
They found 15 men and 4 women, aged between 21 and 26, drinking inside an unlicensed bar. They were arrested and also fined HK$5,000 each.
Officers seized 39 cans of beer and 62 bottles of liquor with a total value of HK$50,000.
All of the arrested were detained for investigation.
