Nine sports centers finish anti-epidemic mission, to reopen to public starting January 7

Nine public sports centers that previously served in the fight against Covid-19 will reopen to the public starting January 7, 2022.

The first one served as a community testing center, while the eight others helped Hongkongers get vaccinated.

Morse Park Sports Center will reopen on January 7, and Tseung Kwan O Sports Center on January 11. Citizens can make bookings starting at 7am on Saturday (Jan 1) and next Wednesday (Jan 5), respectively.

As for the rest of the sports centers, they will reopen to the public on January 14, 2022. The swimming pool in Ho Man Tin will only reopen on January 24.

For Sun Yat Sen Memorial Park Sports Center, only the fitness room, squash courts, and children's playroom will reopen.

Booking for these seven sports centers will be available starting at 7am on January 8.

Citizens can make the booking via the Internet booking services of Leisure Link, counter bookings, and self-service kiosks at venues already reopened, or via the Booking Offices of the District Leisure Services Offices during office hours.
