New World order: Biden phones Xi after warning from China
China threatens to send warships to US coast.
After a US Navy Destroyer cruised through the South China Sea, an irate Beijing condemned Washington’s “bullying” and vowed to give the United States “a taste of its own medicine.”
After China threatens to send warships to US coast, Presidents Biden initiated a Friday morning phone call with Presidents Xi Jinping.
Biden assured Xi that the US is prepared for “more candid exchanges and constructive discussions” and that there is no intent of abandoning the “One China” policy.
The leaders agreed to stay in frequent contact to improve relations between the two countries.
