New World invests in Pantheon Lab's AI tech to diversify PropTech development
Pantheon Lab, a Hong Kong start-up specializing in creating digital humans with artificial intelligence (AI) technology, announced on Tuesday that it has gotten funding from New World Development and is ready to assist the property developer in different projects.
The start-up company announced on Tuesday that it has completed the latest seed round of funding. Among its investors is Eureka Nova, an open innovation platform under New World Development. It will use the new round of funding to expand its scale, boost technology research and product development, etc.
In addition, New World and Pantheon Lab have signed a partnership agreement wherein Pantheon Lab will explore and utilize GPT technology to produce AI digital humans for commercial applications, assisting New World in developing PropTech.
Established in 2019, Pantheon Lab specializes in creating AI digital humans that can communicate in real-time using generative AI technologies, such as hyper-realistic face synthesis, facial expression and gesture automation, and voice synthesis.
Ben Wong, General Manager of Technology & Innovation at New World Development, said that the Group was delighted to partner with Pantheon Lab and introduce their AI digital human technology to the Group's property management and customer services.
Ivan Lau, CEO and founder of Pantheon Lab, was grateful for the support for the New World and planned to utilize the funds provided to strengthen their technology research and development to improve the usage of AI digital human applications at the commercial level.
