A traffic accident occurred in Tsim Sha Tsui where a car was pushed onto the sidewalk after being rear-ended by a truck, injuring a person.
A white BMW was heading along Nathan Road towards Tsim Sha Tsui Ferry Pier at 2.14pm on Tuesday. It slowed down to turn left into Cameron Road, where it was hit from behind by a truck that failed to brake in time.
The collision caused the BMW to lose control and surge forward for about 5 meters, crashing into the sidewalk and injuring a 47-year-old delivery worker. He sustained minor injuries to his fingers and feet.
The 34-year-old driver of the BMW, surnamed Lau, and the 20-year-old driver of the truck, surnamed Wong, are being investigated by the police.
