MTR service between Disneyland Resort and Sunny Bay stations has resumed before 8pm Tuesday, according to the rail operator.
At around 8.05 am, the power supply system between the two stations on the Disneyland Resort Line tripped while a train was entering Disneyland Resort station.
As part of the train had already entered the station platform area, the operations control centre arranged about 30 passengers on the train to alight at Disneyland Resort station via the front compartments of the train.
As a result of the incident, train service of the Disneyland Resort Line was suspended.
During the incident, MTR arranged free MTR shuttle buses running between Disneyland Resort and Sunny Bay stations for the affected passengers.
