Morse Park Swimming Pool temporarily closed after faeces spotted in water
The Morse Park Swimming Pool in Wong Tai Sin has been temporarily closed for cleaning and disinfection after a small amount of faeces were spotted in the pool on Monday.
Swimmers were cleared from the affected pool, and it has been closed for water superchlorination for disinfection, the Leisure and Cultural Services Department said.
The pool will reopen at around 6.55 pm today after the free residual chlorine level returns to normal.
LCSD appeals to swimmers to be considerate and to keep the swimming pools clean. They are advised not to swim after a full meal and should use the toilet facilities if necessary before swimming.
