Government officials have carried out checks and inspections on the vaccine to ensure that it complied with the product specifications and that the transportation process followed the relevant cold-chain requirements.

A government spokesman said the vaccine concerned was manufactured by the same manufacturer and filled and finished at the same plant with the same specifications in Germany.
