Mercedes-Benz sandwiched by two Hong Kong buses at the height of the evening rush hour caused major traffic disruption on Friday.
A photograph posted online showed the luxury saloon squeezed between the two KMB double-deckers on the two-lane carriageway on Nathan Road in Mong Kok.
Passers-by paused and stepped out into the blocked road to take photos of the drama on their mobile phones.
The crash happened in the Sham Shui Po-bound lanes of Nathan Road near the T.O.P. shopping centre in Mong Kok just before 6pm.
A police spokesman said no one was injured in the incident, but traffic flow on a section of Nathan Road was affected.
He said officers from the Kowloon West traffic unit were investigating the crash and that no arrests had been made.
There were 27 road deaths in the first three months of the year and 160 people suffered serious injuries in road traffic accidents across the city over the period.
Police figures also showed 4,549 people were slightly injured in 3,616 minor traffic accidents.
