Man snatched off Kwai Chung street, assaulted, and dumped by side of road 12km away
A suspected triad member was assaulted, bundled into a car in Kwai Chung, and then dumped on the side of the road 12km away in the early hours of Tuesday, according to police.
The incident came to light after the victim Yeung filed a report to the police after he was pushed out of the vehicle on Fuk Lo Tsun Road in Kowloon City.
It is understood Yeung was beaten inside the vehicle after being bundled into a white BMW by two men just after 3am today. He suffered injuries to his head and arms.
Police sources said Yeung was caught up in a monetary dispute involving hundreds of thousands of Hong Kong dollars.
The force has classified the case as assault causing actual bodily harm, which is now handled by officers of the Kowloon City Police District. No arrests have been made so far.
