Man arrested for splashing milk tea at traffic wardens over parking ticket
A man was arrested for obstructing public officers and common assault for splashing his cup of hot milk tea at two traffic wardens in Fanling over a parking ticket on Thursday morning.
The incident occurred about 9am today when the two traffic wardens were patrolling on Luen On Street in Fanling.
The 42-year-old man surnamed Keung argued with the wardens, one male and one female, suspectedly because he was not happy about the parking ticket issued, and splashed the milk tea at the pair.
Police then arrived at the scene and arrested Keung on suspicion of obstructing public officers and common assault.
The two wardens sustaining injuries to their backs were sent to North District Hospital in a conscious state.
