A 47-year-old man was arrested for drunk driving on Friday night after crashing his Tesla into a taxi in Ma On Shan, driven by a 58-year-old former actor who starred in the 1999 thriller “Street Kids Violence.”
The incident occurred around 9pm Friday as the
Tesla headed towards Sha Tin on Sai Sha Road in Ma On Shan. When reaching Tseng Tau Village, it crossed the adjacent driving lane and crashed head-on into a taxi heading to Sai Kung.
The
Tesla driver surnamed Wan later failed the alcohol breathing test and was arrested for drunk driving. He was released on bail and must report to the police in early September.
As for the 58-year-old taxi driver surnamed Choi, he was admitted to Prince of Wales Hospital by ambulance over chest pain.
It was understood that the taxi driver was former actor Choi Kin-shing who starred in the 1999 crime thriller “Street Kids Violence.”
Choi portrayed a member of a kid gang who went by the alias of “Angel B,” and a scene where he bullied and cursed at two rival kid gang members remains netizens’ all-time favorite as the movie screenshots capturing his quotes are still frequently posted on social media and forums.
