Hong Kong Announces 17 Public Holidays for 2024, With Four Long Weekends
The Hong Kong government has announced that workers will have 17 public holidays in 2024, with four long weekends.
Workers can make the most of their annual leaves by taking them during March-April to prolong their holidays to 10 days, or during February 14 to 16 for a nine-day holiday.
The second day of the Lunar New Year in 2024 will be a public holiday, and statutory holidays in Hong Kong will be increased to 17 days from 2022 to 2030, with the first weekday after Christmas Day being added as an additional statutory holiday.
