A Lamborghini burst into flames when it was travelling in Siu Lam on Monday afternoon, causing the 50-year-old driver to be injured.
The incident happened around 2 pm as it travelled from Castle Peak Road - Tai Lam approaching Lok Chui Street in Siu Lam.
The driver said he was driving to the customer service centre in Tuen Mun for car maintenance, but the engine caught fire on the way. He suffered injuries on his waist but refused to be sent to the hospital.
A fire truck happened to come across the scene, and firefighters helped put out the fire.
The luxury car suffered extensive damage to its rear and was towed away by the staff of the maintenance centre.
