Lamborghini driver detained for refusing to do breathalyzer test
Police detained a Lamborghini driver on Friday night as he refused an alcohol breath test for police officers following a crash near the entrance of the Cross-Harbour Tunnel.
The pink Lamborghini and a taxi crashed into each other on Hong Chong Road in Hung Hom around 11.33 pm on Friday as the two vehicles were heading towards the tunnel.
The cabby said his neck was twisted and was sent to the hospital.
As for the Lamborghini driver, he refused to provide a breath sample for the police's alcohol breath test and was taken away.
According to the live photos, the logo of a cryptocurrency company could be seen on the pink Lamborghini.
The license plate of the sports car was found to be the same as that of the Lamborghini that was earlier clamped near City One in Sha Tin – “famous” for its team of workers that can clamp illegally parked vehicles in split seconds.
The incident occurred last November as the female got out to buy some drinks and returned only to find the sports car clamped within a minute. The incident soon drew netizens’ attention, but some doubted if it was one of the crypto company’s promotional campaigns.
