K11 Musea among 19 locations named in compulsory testing notice

K11 Musea in Tsim Sha Tsui are among 19 locations in Hong Kong which have been named on compulsory testing notices.

The testing order came after two imported Covid-19 cases visited four locations. Another 15 locations were schools which saw outbreaks of upper respiratory tract infection, whose symptoms are similar to Covid-19.

The two cases included a 36-year-old man who tested positive for the N501Y mutant strain on Monday. He left for South Africa on October 23 and returned on November 11 by flight QR818.

Another was a 53-year-old Cathay cargo pilot who left Hong Kong on November 3 for Germany and returned on November 7 by flight CX3166. He was tested positive for the L452R mutant strain on Sunday.

People who visited the named locations are required to complete tests by November 17.

Compulsory testing applies to visitors of the following four locations:

1. H&M, Shops G38B, C, D, and 139B, C, F, Silvercord, 30 Canton Road, Tsim Sha Tsui at any time during the period from 11 am to 3 pm on October 28

2. Bauhinia Restaurant, 3/F, Pacific Club, Harbour City, Tsim Sha Tsui, at any time during the period from 6 pm to 11.59 pm on November 5

3. K11 MUSEA, 18 Salisbury Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon at any time during the period from 3 pm to 10 pm on November 4

4. 1/F, Pacific Club, Harbour City, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon at any time during the period from noon to 4 pm on November 4.

Any person who had been to any of the below schools for more than two hours during November 2 to November 15 are also required to undergo tests:

1. Peace Evangelical Centre Kindergarten, Podium, 3/F, Wai Wah Centre, 11-17 Sha Tin Centre Street, Sha Tin

2. S.K.H. St. Barnabas’ Church Kindergarten, G/F-3/F, 71 Shui Wo Street, Kwun Tong

3. James Anglo-Chinese Kindergarten (Sham Shui Po)/James Day Nursery (Shun Ning Road), G/F, Block 7, Cronin Garden, 16 Shun Ning Road, Sham Shui Po

4. S.K.H. Crown of Thorns Church Kwai Chung Kindergarten, Unit 4, G/F, Chun Kwai House, Kwai Chung Estate, Kwai Chung

5. The Neighbourhood Advice-Action Council Tung Yan Day Nursery, 1/F, Tower 15, Caribbean Coast, 1 Kin Tung Road, Tung Chung

6. Cheung Ching Lutheran Day Nursery, Room 309-314, 3/F Ching Kwai House, Cheung Ching Estate, Tsing Yi

7. Cannan Kindergarten (Whampoa Garden)/Cannan Nursery (Whampoa Garden), G/F, Site 10-Banyan Mansions, Whampoa Garden, Hung Hom

8. Hong Kong Society for the Protection of Children Operation Santa Claus Fanling Nursery School, G/F, Wah Koon House, Wah Sum Estate, Fanling

9. Caritas Ling Yuet Sin Kindergarten, G/F-1/F, 54 Pok Fu Lam Road, Sai Ying Pun

10. ESF Abacus International Kindergarten, 1A Mang Kung Uk Road, Clear Water Bay

11. Caritas Lok Jun School, 39 Man Lai Road, Sha Tin

12. Boarding Section of Caritas Lok Jun School, 30 Man Lai Road, Sha Tin

13. The Education University of Hong Kong Early Childhood Learning Centre (only Day Creche Section is included), Room G02-G05, G/F, Senior Staff Quarters, The Education University of Hong Kong, 10 Lo Ping Road, Tai Po

14. Sheng Kung Hui St. Barnabas’ Church After School Care Centre for Pre-primary Children, 4/F, 71 Shui Wo Street, Kwun Tong, Kowloon, Hong Kong

15. Students of Discovery College, 38 Siena Avenue, Discovery Bay, Lantau Island at Primary 1 and teachers who had face-to-face lessons with such students from November 2 to November 15.
