John Lee to visit Guangzhou and Shenzhen next week

Chief Executive John Lee Ka-chiu will visit Guangzhou and Shenzhen next week, where he is expected to discuss cross-border travel with mainland officials, according to local media reports.
The two-day trip will be his first official visit to the mainland as Hong Kong's leader. The sources said Lee would head to Guangzhou next Wednesday and attend an opening ceremony of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology's Guangzhou campus on Thursday.

Lee will then switch to Shenzhen to meet with mainland officials to discuss border reopening issues, the sources said, before returning to Hong Kong that night.
