Cathay Pacific has been criticized by Chief Executive John Lee and Secretary for Transport and Logistics Lam Sai-hung for discrimination against non-English speakers.
Three flight attendants were fired as a result of a passenger's accusation of bias.
Lee expressed disappointment and strong indignation towards the incident and urged Cathay to review training and service quality.
Lam also expressed concern and demanded improvements to the company's mechanisms and staff attitudes.
