Jockey falls off horse for second time in a month during Sha Tin race
Hong Kong’s jockey Keith Yeung Ming-lun was hospitalized after falling from a horse during a race at Sha Tin racecourse on Sunday, the second time in a month.
Yeung was riding Felix the King in Race 4 this afternoon when the horse tumbled to the ground during a turn and caused the jockey to be pinned underneath.
He was conscious after the incident and was sent to the hospital by ambulance. Felix the King was also sent for treatment.
In a race last Sunday, Yeung fell from a horse named Royal Agility during a race at Sha Tin racecourse.
He was flung into the air and fell after the horse inclined towards the right and crashed into the railings aside.
