Hong Kong’s jockey Keith Yeung Ming-lun appeared to be fine after falling from a horse during a race at Sha Tin racecourse on Sunday.
The horse, named Royal Agility, appeared to incline towards the right in the last 400 metres of Race 3 and ended up crashing into the white railings aside.
Yeung was flung into the air and fell. He was conscious after the incident and able to walk to an ambulance for a check on his own, but he could not participate in the remaining races today.
Royal Agility was also sent for treatment afterwards.
