Jewelry worth HK$760,000 stolen from Conduit Road home
A flat in an upscale housing estate on Conduit Road was burgled Friday morning and valuables, including HK$760,000 worth of jewelry were stolen.
The break-in came to light at about 9am this morning when the female tenant of a Realty Gardens - Vienna Court flat discovered that the home had been ransacked.
A safe located inside the bedroom was also cracked with jewelry inside missing.
Police officers were called to the scene and an initial investigation showed that the burglar may have sneaked into the flat after climbing up the balcony.
Officers reviewed the estate’s surveillance camera footage but no arrests have been made so far.
