HSBC clarified online and mobile banking services available overseas

HSBC Hong Kong said its customers can continue to access banking services through online banking and mobile banking outside of Hong Kong and there is no plan for any amendment of the services.
The bank clarified that it has combined the terms and conditions for HSBC internet banking, mobile banking app, and mobile security key into one document so that customers can access them in one place.

There are similar cross border disclosures in other markets.

Earlier yesterday some customers misunderstood that the bank has changed the terms making overseas online and mobile service unavailable. The bank apologized for any inconvenience caused.
